YOSHIDA & Co. 90th Anniversary Project 014 "PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR YOSHIDA & Co. 90th Anniversary ver."

To commemorate Yoshida & Co.'s 90th anniversary, we are releasing the "PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR," made with the world's first mass-produced 100% plant-based nylon from the "TANKER" series.

Each GRIZZLY BEAR is meticulously crafted in Japan, with every step carried out domestically.

The body of the GRIZZLY BEAR is made with the same 100% plant-based nylon as PORTER's signature "TANKER" series, the world's first mass-produced nylon.

The palms and soles feature a "traveling map," a detail once seen on flight jackets. The travelling map, crafted with a playful and peaceful message befitting the anniversary year, is an original design unique to Yoshida & Co.
Furthermore, this special item features a limited-edition 90th anniversary tag attached to the back.

Additionally, the newly released limited-edition color "COYOTE" combines a subdued hue with the beautiful sheen of TANKER's signature nylon.
*The COYOTE color is available only at select stores.

While antique bears from the 1970s and later generally use plastic eyes, the PORTER original GRIZZLY BEAR features glass eyes, a design characteristic of bears produced from the 1940s to 1960s.
Glass eyes allow light to pass through easily, allowing each one to have a unique expression. Bears with glass eyes are rare these days, as plastic eyes are the norm.
The head, arms, and legs are articulated for free movement.

The removable brass chain collar comes with a PADLOCK wrapped in glass leather engraved with the 90th anniversary emblem.
