We are pleased to announce the release of a collaboration collection with New York–based artist Aurel Schmidt

Drawing inspiration from everyday “trash” such as cigarette butts, candy wrappers, matchsticks, and empty cans, Aurel Schmidt creates a distinctive universe that evokes themes of memento mori—the fragility of modern life and the fleeting nature of existence.

⁡While her works are composed of chaotic and decadent motifs, they also carry a sense of humor and familiarity, capturing the vibrant energy and noise of New York City streets.

⁡For this collaboration, Aurel Schmidt created exclusive illustrations inspired by memories from her visit to Japan, incorporating elements of PORTER throughout the artwork. Using pristine white bonding nylon as a blank canvas, her unique world is boldly expressed through an all-over print design. The special collection consists of four styles, each accompanied by an omamori-inspired charm.
