POTR is pleased to announce a special collaboration with Japanese fashion brand doublet, known for its real-world clothing rooted in designs that bring humor and surprise to everyday life.

Founded and designed by Masayuki Ino, doublet creates a wide range of items, from clothing to accessories, based on the concept of transforming familiar everyday pieces into “clothing for everyday life with a sense of discomfort.” By replacing unexpected parts of basic, standard items with spontaneous and unconventional ideas, doublet challenges the way we perceive familiar objects.

For this collaboration, we created a bag inspired by the “double A-side” concept of classic CDs, where there was no “B-side” and both sides were considered the main attraction. The bag features two distinct front-facing sides, with neither side designated as the back.
“Choosing not to settle on a single answer. By not fixing the front and back, and instead reversing the perspective, a new expression emerges. The orientation changes every time you carry it, responding to your mood and outfit of the day. With two A-sides, it is a bag that gives you one more reason to go out,” says Masayuki Ino.

This special collection combines PORTER’s signature designs with doublet’s distinctive and unexpected approach to design.

To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, a selection of apparel pieces that were not presented at the time of the collection’s original debut will also be available exclusively at selected stores. Following the same “double A-side” concept as the bags, these garments can be worn with either side facing forward. Each colorway—black, pink, and khaki—features a different design on each side.
