PORTER original folding fan

This is a PORTER original folding fan, specially produced in collaboration with Miyawaki Baisen-an, a long-established Kyoto fan maker founded in 1823 (Bunsei 6). Since the Edo period, Miyawaki Baisen-an has been involved in almost every step of fan production and sales in-house, preserving traditional techniques and craftsmanship to this day. Their fans are renowned for seamlessly combining utility and beauty — from the feel, the ease of opening, the weight, to the overall usability.The fan surface features the PORTER logo and the brand's mascot "Porter-kun". The attached strap is made from an original kumihimo (traditional braided cord), which can also be worn around the wrist as a hand strap.The fan itself is delicately scented with musk, known for its gentle and warm fragrance. This unique scent is a custom blend of four types of fragrances created by Miyawaki Baisen-an exclusively for this fan.The fan comes with a case made from PORTER’s signature nylon twill fabric, and is packaged in an elegant gift box accented with silver foil stamping
